SO MUCH GOING ON!

HO! HO! HO, and away we go! I cannot keep up with updates because we are constantly doing different things and going here and there and everywhere! Is it really Christmas time already? This year has flown by in the blink of an eye. Everyone around here is doing great and ready for the BIG MAN to come visit. The past few weeks has been crazy. Jake was baptized and everything went well. He was such a cutie pa tootie! He smiled the entire time and didn't even flinch when they poured the Holy water on his head. Jake is just about to walk and I can't wait but I can! Does that even make sense? We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week and we were able to see all the Grandparents! The kids had a blast and they are ready for round two during Christmas. Brady and Avery are ecstatic this year about Santa Claus. I have a couple of cute little stories of Avery and Brady.

Yesterday the school called to tell me that Avery wasn't feeling well and that I should come pick her up. So, off I went and brought her back home. I had made a Doctor's appointment because she is not one to really complain. After I got her home I asked her, "What is wrong Avery, are you okay"? "Well Mommy, I have a headache and just don't feel good". (with a little smirk of a smile on her face) "Avery honey, why do you think your head hurts"? She sighs and says, "I just have so much on my mind". I ask her "what is it"? "It's Christmas and Santa is coming and I am trying to remember if I've been good or bad. I am trying to remember what toys I want and, GOSH so much Mommy"! I chuckled and just gave her a hug and told her not to worry about it. She has been a VERY good girl and I am sure Santa knows it. So, I have to write this down for Avery's first time to play "HOOKY".

Now for Brady! I could tell a million gazillion things that he has done and said but I don't have the time, and I am pretty sure you wouldn't want me to keep going on and on. He is really pumped up about Christmas this year and he had to see Santa Claus the first day he came to the mall. Brady started talking about going to the mall the week BEFORE THANKSGIVING! "Mommy, do you know who is going to be at the mall soon? SANTA, SANTA, SANTA MOMMY"! I heard this everyday for 2 weeks. Brady has been very scared around this house lately and won't go into his room or bathroom alone! He has NEVER been scared so I asked him what his problem was. "Mom, Santa is going to get me. Is he here? Is he coming? How can he see me? I don't want to lay in my bed because Santa will see me". Excuse after excuse. The poor boy is scared because we told him that SANTA IS ALWAYS WATCHING YOU!!! So, I find it funny to wait until his goes down the hall and yell "HO, HO, HO" and watch him come running back to where I am!!! He cracks me up.

The kids and I decorated a Gingerbread house that went bad very quickly. We had fun making it though and making a huge mess as well. I hope these are things that they will never forget!
We have many places to go each weekend, but we will be waking up in our own house Christmas morning. I cannot wait to see the kids faces when they wake up to find what Santa brought them. Until then I will be shopping until I drop.

**I had to make a quick slide show of these past few weeks. The pictures are from all over the place. Just press play! I added Christmas music for fun ;) Enjoy!
Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

It's been too long!

I know I have been slacking on the blogs! We have just been super busy and it doesn't ever seem to stop. The kids had a wonderful Halloween this year. I personally had so much fun dressing them up. Brandon's company decorates GALORE every halloween and the kids can Trick or Treat at the cubicles. They always have a blast going up to his office and seeing everyone. On Halloween night Mimi and Papa Tom joined us and we went to a Halloween party. The kids got to play with their friends and enjoy lots of festivities. They went on a Hayride Trick or Treating around the neighborhood. Avery and Brady had a blast!!! It was a great Halloween!

I can't believe it is one week away from Thanksgiving! Wow, I don't know where the time goes. Avery has started gymnastics and is on Pre-Team. She has surprised me with how far she has come in such a short time. She really tries hard and is so excited every night we go. Our living room has become a practice mat for her floor routine. I laugh because it reminds me of me. I can remember when I was Avery's age scaring my parents to death with all the flips. Brady is really enjoying school now and even told us that he was Thankful for Mrs. Rebecca (his teacher). Lately he has been such an angel and using his manners all the time. He has such a big heart and loves his Family and Friends so much. It's hunting season, and he begs us to go to the ranch every night! I believe it's in his BLOOD! Jake is now 9 months old. He is just weeks away from walking. He is still our MOOSE and eats everything he can get his little fingers on. Jake is such a chilled baby. I am so lucky that he hardly ever gives me a hard time. I just hope that I can say that in a few months when he is running around everywhere. There's really nothing else going on. The Holidays are approaching so fast I need to get my shopping shoes on!
I wish everyone a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING! There is so much for all of us to be Thankful for.

Three little Monkeys!

Brady has started Pre-K! The morning of his first day he was really a character. I'm telling you that I never know what this boy is going to say or do. He was posing every which way for the camera and really cheezin it up. He had a great first day. This past Monday was his first full week. I got him dressed and he was all ready to go, when I feel a tap on the back of my shoulder, "Momma, I just want to stay with you all day", I thought to myself, this is going to be rough. I told my little man that once he got there he would have a lot of fun and that he could play with all of his new friends. Well, we arrived at the school and walked to his classroom where he held onto my leg as tight as he could. I sat for a minute and showed him some stamps and colors, but then he wrapped his hands around my neck like a little monkey and wouldn't let go for nothing. I told him that I loved him and that he would be fine. Mrs. Rebecca took him from me and I walked out the door. My heart was heavy. I don't like leaving my kids crying for me AT ALL! I thought about him all day long and couldn't wait to pick him up at 2:00. I was there 10 minutes early and he was SO EXCITED to see me. I got to hear about his entire day in detail. How he got to paint on a t-shirt, sing songs, and he even got to PRAY he said. So whew, I let out my breath and now I feel better. He was very excited that he decided to stay at school. Brady also just went to Houston for his Heart Cath and we got a GREAT REPORT! His heart is working like it should and his rejection score was a 1. (0-4 being good and 5-10 not such a good report). I think God for this HUGE BLESSING!

Okay, onto Avery Ann! She lost her very first tooth! We were super excited for her. Poor thing it was loose for about 2 weeks, but she just was so dang scared to pull it. By the last three days the tooth was changing colors on us because it was literally hanging by ONE ROOT! I tried numerous times to talk this girl into just yanking it out, but NO WAY was she having any part of that. We were in bed and talking before she went to sleep and I told her, "Avery, you have to pull that tooth before you go to bed tonight or you could swallow it and choke," she says "but Mommy I'm not ready." I told her to take a deep breath and just do it. So we were watching TV and VERY, VERY, CALMLY she says, "I GOT IT, GOT IT"! Then yells for Daddy to come see. We put her tooth under her pillow for the "TOOTH FAIRY" to come visit. She woke up and got $20.00. This only happens for your FIRST TOOTH!

Jake is growing so fast that I can't believe he is already 7 months old. I swear time is flying by right before my eyes. He is such a wonderful baby and sleeps very good. Lately he is just a LITTLE fussy because he is trying to cut those dang teeth, but none have appeared yet. He is up and crawling all around. He absolutely LOVES his Daddy and will light up immediately when Brandon walks into the room. Jake is now 21 lbs and boy does he get heavy. He can even wear some of Brady's shorts. I think we have a linebacker on our hands.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures. There is a little of everything on this one. Just press play.

My Big Tball Player!

Brady's first T-ball season has come and gone. We were so proud of our TOUGH LITTLE GUY! He enjoyed every second of the season. We loved watching him every Saturday go out there and strut his stuff. Brady would go up to the plate to bat and had to wear the huge helmet. on his head, poor thing made him look like chicken little (the cartoon). Right after he would hit the ball, he would take off running, stop and throw the helmet and his hat off and laugh and run to first base. It was classic. I loved when the coaches would set him up to hit and as soon as they would move out of the way, Brady would move to the spot he knew would work for him. Many times he would walk from 3rd base home b/c he was just so HOT and tired, but then take off running to the dugout. One of the very first games Avery was in the score box yelling and yelling, "Brady, Brady get ready! Hey Brady, GO BRADY, BRADY, GO BRADY!" All of a sudden from the pitcher's box, little Brady throws his hands up in the air looks up at Avery and YELL'S "WHAT? What do you want?" It was the cutest thing ever. My heart would melt when he would hit the ball run over to first base and look into the stands and give me a thumbs up. Or when Daddy would be standing out there with his little boy and they would high five b/c Brady would stop the ball or get a good hit. I can't believe he has already gotten to the age to play t-ball. Man, God has blessed us with this one!! When the season was over I had the assistant Coach tell me that he wished his little boy had the motivation that Brady did when he practiced and played out on the field. He said "He just tries so hard and is super serious about tball and it shows". After the game when the Coach was handing out the medals, Brady's name was called out last and she put the medal around his neck and said " BRADY, OUR LITTLE MOTIVATER". I am telling you this boy LOVED every second of his first season of Tball. Brandon helped him so much and was out on the field every game. Thank you Mimi, Papa Tom, Bah Bah, Mimi Rose, for coming to watch BP play. Seeing you guys in the stands, I know meant alot to him. Uncle Jut and Aunt Suzie, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for all of your help during the games with Jake and helping us out all the time. Brady was always excited when you guys were there!! Love to you all enjoy the pictures. They are priceless!

Avery started 1st Grade today. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. I wish there was a magic wand to make time stand still. I feel like I was just bringing her home from the hospital yesterday.

She was very excited about going to school this morning. She got to pick out which outfit she was going to wear and how she wanted her hair fixed. I'm so glad she wanted it curly. I am a little biased but I think she is going to be the CUTEST 1ST GRADER EVER.

ONE PROUD MOMMA,
